Digital Inclusion Committee's

OurTech Co-op is leading discussion forums around digital inclusion.  Minnesota counties, cities, and townships tribes public schools, public or multi-family housing authorities, public libraries, medical or healthcare providers, institutions of higher education, community colleges, tribal colleges, faith-based organizations, public workforce agencies, social service providers and community-building non-profits whose service under represented populations will have the opportunity to tell the state about their difficulty's fully utilizing the digital world they live in and propose solutions to overcome these issues.

OurTech Co-op will facilitate group Digital Inclusion Committee Discussions with up to 5 participants per committee. Participants should be available for up to 9 meetings (the actual participating time will vary and the committee will make the determination on how much time and frequency of meetings) between  and . Participants will be compensated $400 for their participation in the committee discussion. OurTech Co-op will serve as a subject matter expert facilitator and plan 18 hours of work at $110 per hour (2 hours per meeting to facilitate, collate, and submit findings) totaling $2000 per engagement group.

Committee Sponsor

The Committee sponsor is a person who simply cares about Digital Inclusion and has a network of people who they can call upon to recommend to the committee.  A committee sponsor can be a participant.

Fiscal Agent

Municipalities, Tribes, Community Anchor Institutions, and Social Service providers serving covered populations will act as the fiscal agent for the committee disbursing funds to participants in contractors.

Committee Facilitator

OurTech Co-op will serve as the paid facilitator for the committee and will be responsible for collecting and facilitating the committee’s discussions, organizing the members events, forms, and interactions with the State.
